On Sunday (December 29), Bangladesh Bank's spokesperson and executive director, Hussne Ara Shikha, confirmed this information. Speaking to *Dhaka Post*, she said, "Foreign grants have been added, and the remittance inflow remains strong. These factors have collectively boosted the reserves." However, based on the BPM-6 standard of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the reserves currently stand at $21.33 billion. Even under this calculation, the reserves have increased compared to earlier figures.
