Professor Dr. Asif Nazrul, the Interim Government's Law and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser, accused former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her family of corruption at an event marking International Anti-Corruption Day in Dhaka. He criticized the corruption during Hasina's tenure, citing overpriced goods, bank lootings, and corrupt businessmen. Dr. Nazrul also alleged that the ACC and the judiciary failed to address these issues, while focusing on the case against Khaleda Zia. He called Hasina a "thieving Prime Minister" and claimed that the ACC and judiciary were under her control. Dr. Nazrul urged ACC officials to be more active and emphasized the need for urgent reforms in both the ACC and judiciary to combat corruption in the country.
