While discussing the three-point demand raised by the teachers and students of Jagannath University, Mahfuz Alam, Adviser to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, encountered an unexpected and tense situation when the issue of a clash between students and police was brought up. The atmosphere grew more volatile during his speech, and at one point, a water bottle was suddenly thrown at him, striking him on the head.
