Sarjis Alam, Coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, emphasized the need for a new political party that unites students and the public to prioritize Bangladesh’s interests.

During an interview with a private television channel on Wednesday, November 20, Sarjis stated, "Political rivalry in Bangladesh has been limited to two parties, hindering progress in addressing national and public concerns."

Commenting on the Awami League's potential political involvement, he added, "The Awami League will not be permitted to participate in politics under any circumstances until justice is ensured."
