Northern Lights, a private volunteer organization, has rewarded eight children and teenagers in Rangpur with bicycles for consistently attending congregational prayers for 40 days. On Friday (January 27), following the Jumu'ah prayer, Northern Lights Chairman Yasin Arafat Asif handed over the bicycles at Ershad Nagar Jame Mosque in Ward No. 28 of the city.

As per the organizers and the mosque committee, the initiative aimed to encourage children and teenagers aged 10 to 18 to maintain regular prayers at Ershad Nagar Jame Mosque.
