The 29th Dhaka International Trade Fair 2025 will begin on January 1, held for the fourth time at the Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center (BBCFEC) in Purbachal, Dhaka. The fair’s main theme will highlight the student uprising of July-August, displayed at the entrance gate. This was confirmed by the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB).

EPB Secretary and Trade Fair Director Bibek Sarker said, “The month-long fair will start on January 1, and Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Advisor, has agreed to inaugurate it at 10 AM. Each year, we introduce something new, and this year, we are focusing on the students' sacrifices during the uprising.”

To honor the martyrs, two special corners, Shahid Abu Sayeed Corner and Mir Mughda Corner, will be featured. A Youth Pavilion will also be set up. For the first time, tickets will be available online. Sarker added, “Visitors can use a QR code from their mobile phones for entry after purchasing e-tickets.” The entry fees will remain 50 BDT for adults and 25 BDT for children, as in previous years.
