Ariful Islam, a Japanese expatriate, was found dead in Bashundhara Residential Area. Police suspect his wife, Parveen Akhter, who arrived from Canada, killed him and returned. Ariful's body, with stab wounds, was discovered in a rented apartment where Parveen and he stayed. Documents revealed their marriage, unknown to Ariful's family. CCTV and phone data traced Parveen's movements, indicating she left Bangladesh after the murder. A note found at the scene suggests longstanding animosity as the motive. Authorities aim to extradite Parveen from Canada. The case highlights a tragic end to a marriage marked by hidden turmoil and fatal consequences.
