Jordanian MPs gathered to perform Dhuhr (noon) prayers inside the parliament's main chamber on November 3, ahead of a scheduled session to elect members of the permanent bureau. MP Dr. Ahmed Al-Raqab led the congregational prayers. MP Dima Tahboub later explained that the chamber doors had been closed ahead of the king's arrival, prompting lawmakers to pray inside rather than miss the prayer time. The moment highlighted the MPs' decision to prioritize their religious obligations amid parliamentary proceedings.
