After completing 18 months of military service, BTS member Jin returned to his role as a K-pop idol, marking his comeback with a public event in Seoul. On Thursday, 1,000 lucky fans selected through a raffle had the opportunity to receive a hug from him during a three-hour event dubbed the "hugathon." Jin had initially proposed embracing up to 3,000 fans. One winner, Ms. Park, expressed her excitement upon learning she had secured a spot, unable to believe her luck until she started preparing for the trip to Seoul. Jin is the first BTS member to finish military duty; the remaining six members are expected to complete their service by June 2025, signaling the band's eventual reunion.
