“Every Baby in Gaza Is an Enemy”: Former Israeli Lawmaker’s Shocking Statement Fuels Outrage

Far-right Israeli politician and former Knesset member Moshe Feiglin has stirred global condemnation after declaring that “every child, every baby in Gaza is an enemy.” Speaking on Israel’s Channel 14, Feiglin stated, “The enemy is not Hamas, nor its military wing. Every child in Gaza is the enemy. We must occupy Gaza and settle it—no Gazan child should remain. That is the only form of victory.”

Feiglin's remarks came in response to fierce criticism from Yair Golan, a retired IDF deputy chief of staff and leader of the newly formed political party The Democrats. In a press conference, Golan accused Israel of “killing babies as a hobby,” and warned the country was on the path to becoming a global pariah.

“A sane country does not wage war on civilians, does not kill babies for sport, and does not carry out mass population displacements,” said Golan. He described the Netanyahu administration as “vengeful and morally bankrupt,” and warned their leadership during crisis was threatening Israel’s future.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu swiftly condemned Golan’s statements, labeling them “wild incitement” and a “blood libel.” He defended the Israeli military, calling the IDF “the most moral army in the world” and stated that Israeli soldiers are “fighting a war for our survival.”

Meanwhile, Israeli military operations in Gaza have intensified. Netanyahu pledged on Monday to seize full control of the territory to eliminate Hamas and secure the release of remaining hostages.

According to Dr. Marwan Al-Hams, head of Gaza’s field hospitals, over 600 Palestinians have been killed in just four days of strikes. The Palestinian Health Ministry reports that since the October 7 attacks, more than 53,000 people in Gaza have lost their lives. Thousands more have been wounded or permanently disabled.

The soaring civilian death toll has prompted increasing international criticism. On Tuesday, the United Kingdom suspended free trade negotiations with Israel, summoned the Israeli ambassador, and announced new sanctions on settlers in the West Bank. Prime Minister Keir Starmer said he was “horrified” by the latest escalation.

UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy also condemned the blockade, warning it was obstructing hostage negotiations and worsening humanitarian conditions. Under mounting pressure, five UN aid trucks carrying baby food were finally allowed into Gaza on Monday—marking the first such delivery since March 2.

With the region on the brink of famine, international concern continues to grow over the severe restrictions on food, medical supplies, and humanitarian aid reaching Gaza’s population.
