A car ramming attack near Nablus in the occupied West Bank killed two Israelis, prompting a manhunt for the suspect, the Israeli army reported. This incident comes amid escalating violence during Israel's war against Hamas in Gaza. The conflict began with Hamas's October 7 attack on southern Israel, killing 1,189 people and taking 252 hostages. Israel's retaliatory strikes have resulted in over 36,171 deaths in Gaza, mostly civilians, according to local health authorities. Hamas described the Nablus attack as a "natural response" to Israeli actions.
