Bangladesh conducted a coordinated repatriation operation, returning 285 Myanmar nationals, predominantly Border Guard Police members, who had sought refuge across the border. The process commenced at 4 am as they were transported to a Cox's Bazar jetty and later transferred to a Myanmar Navy ship in the Bay of Bengal by Bangladesh Navy. The repatriation involved careful coordination between Bangladeshi and Myanmar authorities, with thorough identity verification and documentation checks before the formal handover at the jetty.
