Bigg Boss OTT's third season, set for June, will see Anil Kapoor as the new host, replacing Salman Khan. Jio Cinema released a video confirming this change, where Kapoor's voice and silhouette are identifiable. Kapoor's announcement hints at something special for the upcoming season. Salman Khan reportedly stepped down from hosting due to film commitments, particularly his prep work for the movie "Sikandar" directed by AR Murugadoss. Concerns about audience repetition also influenced Khan's decision to relinquish hosting duties.
