Default loans in the banking industry reached an all-time high of Tk 1,82,295 crore at the end of March this year, according to the Bangladesh Bank's latest data. According to BB data, bad loans increased by Tk 36,367 crore in the three months ending March of this year, 25 percent more than the previous three months.
