Ashik Chowdhury, a Bangladeshi skydiver, set a new Guinness World Record by freefalling from a plane with the Bangladesh flag, achieving the ‘Greatest Distance Freefall with a Banner/Flag.’ He broke Indian skydiver Jitin Vijayan’s previous record by approximately 1,500 feet, with a total freefall distance of about 38,000 feet.
