HSC exam rescheduled to July 8 in Sylhet due to flooding

Due to severe flash floods affecting Sylhet division, the HSC and equivalent exams there have been postponed until July 8. The decision, announced by Inter Education Board Coordination Committee President Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, affects Secondary and Higher Education, Madrasa, and Technical Education Boards within Sylhet. Exams for other boards will proceed as planned. The floods, causing landslides and heavy rainfall, have submerged much of the region, impacting approximately 1.6 million residents. The Sylhet board alone has 82,417 candidates from 309 educational institutions, prompting the suspension of exams until June 30 in response to the ongoing crisis.
