Traffic Reporter Reacts “Oh Sh*t!” After Witnessing Car Crash During Broadcast

Ohio traffic reporter KJ Jacobs was delivering a live traffic update for Cincinnati’s WCPO 9 when an unexpected crash unfolded right before his eyes. While reporting on a vehicle that had stopped along the highway, Jacobs noticed another car suddenly slam into it. Caught completely off guard by the incident, he instinctively exclaimed, “Oh sh*t!” during the live broadcast.

Realising he had used inappropriate language on air, Jacobs immediately apologised to viewers. He then explained that the incident had surprised him because it was the first time he had ever witnessed a traffic collision happen live while reporting.

The unexpected moment quickly captured attention, showing just how unpredictable live television can be. Although the crash was witnessed on camera, the conditions of the drivers involved were not immediately known.
