Controversial musician Mainul Ahsan Nobel was granted bail in a case involving alleged fraud and embezzlement of 1.3 million taka, linked to a promise of marriage. However, his bail was later cancelled after he violated the settlement terms, and he was sent back to jail.
On February 23, police from Demra Police Station arrested him during a raid in the Bottola area under Siddhirganj Police Station. Earlier, on August 13, 2025, a woman named Anannia Shabnam Rose filed the case. On February 2 this year, the court issued arrest warrants against Nobel and four others, including his wife Israt Jahan Priya, his mother Nazma Hossain, and his assistant Munem Shah Soumik.
