Ryan Gosling is officially joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Ghost Rider. Marvel Studios announced at its San Diego Comic-Con panel on Saturday that the new film is set to hit theaters in 2028.
The movie will be directed by Shawn Levy, who previously directed Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) and is also collaborating with Gosling on the upcoming Star Wars: Starfighter.
Gosling appeared on stage to celebrate the announcement, telling fans, "As you know, this is a character I've wanted to play for a long time."
