More Than 20 Marvel Actors Join Campaign Calling for Release of Palestinian Politician Marwan Barghouti

More than 20 actors known for their roles in Marvel films and TV series have joined an international campaign urging the release of Palestinian politician Marwan Barghouti, who is serving multiple life sentences in an Israeli prison. Mark Ruffalo, Benedict Cumberbatch, Ian McKellen, Don Cheadle, Cate Blanchett and Tilda Swinton are among more than 200 cultural figures supporting the “Free Marwan Now” campaign, which calls on the UN and governments around the world to push for his release.
