Fans were disappointed with the release of *Squid Game* Season 2, which debuted on December 26 after a three-year wait. Many criticized the season's pacing, lack of emotional intensity, and filler scenes. The finale, which ended on a cliffhanger, left viewers frustrated, with some feeling it was more of a teaser for Season 3. Complaints included the season feeling unnecessarily stretched, with key plot developments crammed into the last 30 minutes. Despite the criticism, the season's ending has generated anticipation for the third season. New characters and returning stars like Lee Jung-jae and Wi Ha-jun were part of the continuation, but the season failed to live up to the expectations set by the first.
