Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappé has won admiration for a heartwarming gesture after comforting a young football fan who was accidentally struck in the face by a powerful shot from his teammate Aurélien Tchouaméni during a La Liga match against Racing Santander.

The incident occurred around the 51st minute at El Sardinero Stadium on November 1, 2026, when Tchouaméni attempted a long-range effort that sailed over the goal and landed in the stands, hitting the young spectator and leaving him in tears. However, what began as a frightening experience turned into an unforgettable memory for the child.

After Real Madrid secured a 3-0 victory, Tchouaméni personally met the youngster, apologised for the incident and presented him with a signed Real Madrid shirt. The moment became even more special when Mbappé stopped to greet the boy and check whether he was alright.

"It's Tchouaméni's fault. He doesn't know how to shoot!" Joked the French forward, with a playful smile, about his teammate's shooting accuracy.

The remark brought smiles to the young fan, who exchanged a handshake and high-five with the French superstar before posing for a photograph. The gesture from both players transformed an unfortunate incident into a special encounter that the youngster and his family are unlikely to forget.

Sometimes, the most memorable moments in football happen beyond the goals and trophies. Mbappé and Tchouaméni reminded everyone that kindness and compassion can make an equally lasting impact.
