Hezbollah attacked a military post in northern Israel using a drone that fired missiles, wounding three soldiers. This marked Hezbollah's first successful missile airstrike from within Israeli airspace. The group's attacks have intensified, particularly after Israel's incursion into Rafah in Gaza. Hezbollah has been using more advanced weaponry, including explosive drones and Almas guided missiles. The group's escalation is seen as part of a broader strategy by the Iran-led axis of resistance to increase pressure on Israel, particularly if a full-scale invasion of Rafah occurs.

Hezbollah's tactics have evolved to reduce their own casualties, now focusing on drone and rocket attacks from safer distances. The conflict has seen significant losses on both sides, with Hezbollah losing over 250 fighters since October and Israel losing 15 soldiers.

Hezbollah's leader Hassan Nasrallah stated that the fighting along the Lebanon-Israel border will continue until Israel's military operations in Gaza cease. Despite diplomatic efforts for a ceasefire, the situation remains tense, with both sides bracing for further conflict.
