Coca-Cola Bangladesh faced backlash over an ad featuring actors from "Bachelor Point," accused of supporting Israel amid Palestine's conflict. Director-actor Zibon, targeted for directing the ad, defended his involvement, stating he presented it based on agency-provided data. Amid mixed reactions, Zibon clarified his stance, affirming his stand against human rights violations and denying support for Israel. Coca-Cola aimed to clarify its non-Israeli origin through the ad, emphasizing its global presence. The controversy underscores tensions surrounding Palestine-Israel conflict, prompting calls for boycotts and raising awareness about product origins.
