Dhrubajit Karmakar, a 22-year-old student of Mymensingh Engineering College, died by suicide on Sunday, leaving behind a heartbreaking note in which he held Bangladesh’s education system responsible for his death. According to reports, Dhrubajit was caught cheating during an examination and was asked to leave the exam hall. About an hour later, he was discovered hanging in his dormitory room. His suicide note conveyed deep sorrow to his parents, described the academic pressure as unbearable, and ended with a final farewell. The college principal confirmed the tragic incident and mentioned that Dhrubajit had recently exhibited signs of emotional distress. Police have intervened, and legal procedures are currently in progress.
