A Dhaka court has postponed the hearing on 11 cases, including sedition charges, against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to July 29. Judge Mohammad Ash-Shams Joglul Hossain of the Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court, held at Keraniganj Central Jail, rescheduled the hearing following defense petitions. Khaleda, presently out of jail under a government order, is undergoing treatment at her Gulshan residence due to illness. The cases involve arson attacks from early 2015 and seditious comments on freedom fighters.
