In Chakaria, Cox's Bazar, a young army officer, Tanzim Sarwar Nirjon (22), was tragically killed in a violent attack by armed robbers and terrorists. The assault, which involved gunfire and stabbings, occurred during a joint forces raid following reports of a robbery at a house.

The incident took place between 3:00 and 3:30 AM on Tuesday (September 24) in Purbo Maizpara, Dulahazara Union of the upazila. So far, six suspects have been arrested in connection with the attack. Chakaria Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Manzur Kader Bhuiyan confirmed the details to Kaler Kantho.
