Dhallywood Megastar Shakib Khan and Siam Ahmed have been accused of intentionally showing smoking scenes in their movies, including 'Toofan' and 'Jongli'. Stop Tobacco Bangladesh, an anti-smoking organization, claims these scenes are being promoted online to drive teenagers towards addiction, including smoking. The organization claims that these stars are misleading the future generation and demands that these movies be banned and punitive action taken against the violators. The agency urges everyone to protest and raise a strong voice against smoking scenes in dramas, movies, and web series. The Smoking and Use of Tobacco Products (Control) Act, 2005 states that any film, drama, or documentary made in Bangladesh or broadcast abroad, showing the use of tobacco products on television, radio, internet, or stage programs must not describe or make.
