Education Minister Mohibul Hassan announced that schools may cease Saturday classes after Eid-ul-Azha. Initially implemented as a temporary measure to offset learning gaps from prolonged closures due to various factors, including heat waves, the decision may now be reversed. This statement came during a press briefing following the release of SSC and equivalent exam results. Teachers have persistently urged for the reinstatement of Saturday as a weekly holiday, challenging the government's directive to conduct academic activities on that day.
