Associate Professor Dr. Ilyach Pramanik from Rangpur Begum Rokeya University urged all faculty, officials, and staff to stand in solidarity with Abu Saeed's family following his tragic death. He emphasized the moral duty of the university community, suggesting a voluntary deduction of 10 days' salary to support the family of the slain student. Dr. Pramanik, recalling his own experience of standing up for students, lamented the deteriorating student-teacher relationships and the growing fear among teachers. He called for concrete actions rather than mere social media condemnations, highlighting the need for unity and support within the university community amidst these trying times.
