After securing a single-party majority in the 13th national parliamentary elections, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has prepared a draft plan to form the new government. According to party sources, the proposed cabinet will combine experienced senior politicians with younger leaders, including both elected and non-elected members.
The party aims to quickly implement its election pledges, improve administrative performance, and introduce fresh ideas in policymaking, while also grooming future leaders. Some former ministers from the 2001–2006 term, known for relatively clean and transparent records, are being considered for return.
