A fifth-grade madrasa student was reportedly raped by a studio worker while posing for photos at Studio Jhilik in Bhogra, Gazipur, on Sunday evening, according to the police.

The accused, Hasan, is the son of Abul Hossain from the Noumala area of Patuakhali.

The madrasa student's father explained that his daughter had gone to the studio around 7 pm for a photo session as part of her madrasa assignment. When she didn’t return home after 30 minutes, he went to the studio to look for her. The studio owner wasn’t there, but he eventually found and rescued his daughter. At that point, he detained the studio worker, Hasan, and took him to the police station.

Basan Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Mohammad Ali stated that Hasan was arrested and brought to the station around 7:30 pm on Sunday. He is being questioned, and legal action is being pursued.
