Mustafiz Ahmed, from Bagerhat, oversees the production of 120 wooden houses bound for Belgium, crafted entirely by a workforce of 200 skilled villagers in Karri. Each house, 11m x 4.5m, features walls, doors, windows, and roofs made from local materials, promoting eco-friendliness. Started after securing a Belgian eco park order, the project emphasizes sustainable practices and employs modular designs for easy transport and assembly. Workers like Mojahid and Shariful Islam express pride in their craftsmanship and newfound appreciation for these innovative homes, which aim to enhance Bangladesh's global reputation in eco-friendly exports.
