Dhaka's Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh urged residents to report Aedes mosquito breeding spots to combat dengue during a hospital cleanliness program. Emphasizing prompt action upon receiving information, he stressed the role of public awareness and cooperation. Tapas highlighted ongoing mosquito control efforts but stressed the need for community involvement. Medical officials underscored prevention due to lack of dengue-specific treatment. The program involved over 100 mosquito workers and 250 cleaners across multiple hospitals, with corporation officials and councilors present.
