The order came after Bangladesh Food Safety Authority (BFSA) Inspector Mohammad Kamrul Hasan filed a case against five companies for selling unauthorized electrolyte drinks. Tanveer Sinha appeared in court, admitted guilt, and explained that they were unaware the product lacked a license. The court then imposed the fine and instructed the withdrawal of SMC Plus products.
