In the video, he is seen demanding 1 lakh taka from a sand trader as extortion. The incident has sparked widespread outrage, but Nahid insists he is being framed. The organization has issued a show-cause notice to him in response.

In the video, Nahid is heard saying, "You can see where this is going. Talk to him, and if you feel like contributing a little—after all, you understand what it takes to run an organization. That’s the point. I don’t want you to face any issues. If you think there’s a problem on your side, talk to Bhai (the park authorities). I can’t force anything on you."

The individual then responds, "If you say sand trading is taking place there, I’ll shut it down. I can’t pay 1 lakh taka, but I can give 5,000 taka." Nahid replies, "Why would you shut down your business? Keep it running. Speak to Bhai. Take your time. You can see where this is headed—I have to handle the UNO and DC. If you want to lower the amount, talk to Bhai. I don’t want you to face any trouble. You know how it works to run an organization."
