Bhutan has changed its tourism policy for Bangladeshi visitors, slashing the Sustainable Development Fees (SDF) to $15 per day, aligning it with what Indian tourists pay. This revision allows 15,000 Bangladeshi tourists annually to explore Bhutan at the reduced rate. The adjustment reflects the strong bilateral ties between Bangladesh and Bhutan, particularly emphasized during Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's tenure. Effective immediately, this visa policy update aims to foster deeper relations and enhance tourism between the two nations.
