Iftekhar Rafsan, known as Rafsan The Choto Bhai, faces an arrest warrant following allegations of unauthorized promotions of Blu D
rinks. Judge Alaul Akbar of the Pure Food Court issued the warrant after Kamrul Hossain, a food inspector, confirmed that Blu Drinks lacked official approval from authorities. Previously, a raid on Rafsan's Blu Drinks factory in Comilla revealed substandard manufacturing practices, including the production of electrolyte drinks without the required packaging registration. The operation, overseen by Executive Magistrate Farhana Nasreen, resulted in a fine of 30,000 taka for violating the Weights and Measurement Standards Act-2018. The incident gained attention on social media, prompting scrutiny from local authorities and the drug administration due to the unauthorized nature of the drinks.
