According to a circular by Bangladesh Bank on June 9, bank transactions will now run from 10 am to 4 pm starting June 19. Bank offices will be open from 10 am to 6 pm, with weekends on Friday and Saturday. This directive, under Section 45 of the Bank Companies Act, 1991, modifies the current schedule of transactions from 10 am to 3:30 pm and office hours from 10 am to 5 pm.
