Syed Abed Ali, a former driver for a Public Service Commission chairman, has been implicated in a scandal involving leaked exam questions and amassed assets worth over Tk 50 crore. He owns properties including a six-storey building in Mirpur and multiple flats, along with vehicles and significant cash deposits. Ali, originally from Madaripur, rose from humble beginnings as a porter to become a PSC chauffeur in 1997, but was dismissed in 2014 for his role in question paper leaks. Despite losing his job, he allegedly continued illicit activities with accomplices, including government job lobbying. His son, also implicated, was relieved from a political post.
